Arrived at the Fortezza da Basso, turn around it and take Viale Lavagnini; at the traffic lights (located about half way street) turn right into Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria. Go straight in Via Nazionale to Largo Alinari at the traffic light turn right, go straight then the 2nd traffic lights turn right again in Piazza Adua. Continue straight on in Via Cennini after 5 meters on the right you find the entrance of the hotel. Please take note that hotel private parking is by payment, the entrance of the parking is tight, so we recommend to stop your car in Piazza Adua, located before the hotel, and reach us by foot. The reception staff will be happy to assist you to park your car.Once arrived at the hotel it is possible to make the registration of your car plate number, for the limited traffic zone (ZTL), at the cost of 1 €. The registration has retroactive effect for 3 hours from arrival. Remember that this service does not cover the passage from lanes (reserved for public transport), so there will be a fine. By train: The nearest train station is Santa Maria Novella (Firenze SMN), that is located 300 meters from the hotel. To reach us, take the left exit of the station, next to the platform 16 . Walk towards the Congress Palace and Piazza Adua, and then continue in Via Cennini, the hotel is at number 4. Be careful to not confuse with “Palazzo Vecchio” (the city hall), which is located on the opposite direction from the Hotel Palazzo Vecchio. By bus or taxi: You can catch the shuttle bus, which connects Florence airport (A. Vespucci) with the central train station S. M. Novella. The bus name is “Volainbus”. The travel time is approximately 25 minutes and ticket costs € 6 per person. The bus stop, in the city center, is at Santa Maria Novella train station, next to the taxi station. If you prefer to take a taxi, the cost is 20 euro, plus the surcharge of 1 euro for each luggage. Be careful to not confuse the Hotel Palazzo Vecchio with the “Palazzo Vecchio” (the city hall), which is located on the opposite direction from the Hotel.
